My partner and I share a very similar approach to spending money. Usually when it comes to major purchases, probably more than $100, we run it by each other. I don’t see it as ‘asking for permission,’ but more as keeping each other in the loop and getting a second opinion. It’s worked well in our relationship.
Also, I would love to see videos on ‘sort of minimalism’ what that looks like you for you. I flirt with minimalism here and there. I love the idea of minimalism and find that financial prudence comes with it, but I suspect I’ll always be most comfortable at ‘sort of minimalism.’
The minimalism thing is something we’re working on. It’s not really anything specific except distaste for clutter 🙂
